First Inspection / 3,000 km Service
Recommended at around 3,000 km, or after the first few trips in a new caravan or camper trailer — the point where new components settle in and need checking. Includes:
- Wheel bearings checked and adjusted
- Wheel nut tension checked
- Tyre pressures and wear pattern
- Suspension and bushes inspected
- Park brake and cable checked and adjusted
- Brake system check
- Undercarriage inspection
- All exterior lights tested
- Roof seals and internal check for water ingress
- Shackles and coupling greased
- Fire extinguisher fitted
- Awning operation check
- Breakaway system and override battery tested
- Trailer plug and Anderson plug checked for damage
Comprehensive Service
Our full service for caravans and camper trailers that have done some kilometres. Everything in the First Inspection, plus:
- Hubs removed, cleaned, inspected and repainted
- Wheel bearings and seals inspected (we’ll let you know if replacement is needed)
- Brake pads and magnets checked
- Brakes adjusted and electric brakes tested
- Hubs refitted and adjusted, wheels torqued to spec
- Tyre age check — we’ll flag any tyres over 5 years old and recommend replacing tyres around 10 years old, even if the tread looks good
- Stabiliser legs checked and lubricated
- Hot water anode checked (if fitted)
Travel zones
We’re based in Mount Cotton. Choose your zone when you book and the travel fee is included in your price:
- Zone 1 (+$60): Mount Cotton, Redland Bay, Victoria Point, Thornlands, Capalaba, Cleveland, Alexandra Hills
- Zone 2 (+$90): Loganholme, Springwood, Shailer Park, Carindale, Wynnum, Manly
- Zone 3 (+$135): Brisbane CBD, Sunnybank, Mt Gravatt, Logan Central, Beenleigh
- Zone 4 (+$180): Chermside, Aspley, Ipswich, Springfield
Booking and cancellations
A $100 deposit secures your booking and comes off your final invoice. Reschedule free of charge with more than 48 hours’ notice; cancellations within 48 hours forfeit the deposit. If your caravan isn’t under cover and we need to cancel because of bad weather, you won’t lose your deposit — we’ll simply reschedule.
