Vinyl replacement or a new awning?
A vinyl replacement is usually the way to go if:
- the fabric is faded, cracked, stretched or torn
- the arms, roller and hardware still work properly
- you’d like to freshen up the look of your van
We supply and fit replacement vinyls in both generic and custom-made sizes.
A complete replacement awning makes more sense if:
- the arms are bent, the roller is damaged or the mechanism is worn out
- parts for your old awning are no longer available
- you want to upgrade — for example from a manual roll-out to a cassette (box) or 12-volt electric awning
Signs your awning needs attention
- Fading, cracking or small tears in the vinyl
- Water pooling or the fabric sagging between the arms
- Arms that are stiff, bent or don’t lock properly
- An awning that won’t roll out or retract smoothly
- Rust or corrosion on the hardware
